Jon DeWitt Principal, Artemis Strategy Group Jon is a global brand strategy specialist with broad experience on a spectrum of research and innovation assignments. Prior to founding Artemis, he was Senior Vice President with Harris Interactive and with Wirthlin Worldwide for twelve years. In both organizations he was the leading brand strategy specialist on major assignments spanning industry sectors. Jon combines an ability to make breakthrough observations with a skill communicating those insights in a way that is both easily understood and impactful. During his time at Harris and Wirthlin, his work was twice recognized with David Ogilvy Awards for innovative research in support of strategic advertising campaigns. Jon began to build his global knowledge as Vice President of Macro International; he established and managed research operations during the late ‘80s and early ‘90s in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Russia helping Western companies to introduce their products and services to the newly opened markets of Eastern Europe. Jon began his career and developed his orientation to politics and policy as a legislative and research director for U.S. Senator Robert T. Stafford (R-VT). Jon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina.

Active nationally and internationally, TSS also provides research, analysis, and assistance in commercializing new energy technologies for public and private clients with a focus on biomass, biofuels, geothermal, and solar technologies. Tad Mason has over 27 years of experience in natural resources management. For the last 20 years he has been active in wildland and forest fuels reduction, biomass fuels procurement, as well as renewable energy projects (feasibility studies, risk assessment, development and implementation). As a Registered Professional Forester (RPF), he has prepared timber harvest plans, timber management plans, forest treatment/prescriptions and fire restoration plans.
David Allen New President, Growing Excellence Inc. Growing Excellence Inc. is a Boise, Idaho based consulting company which has provided international strategic forest sector business planning, timberlands acquisition management, and international aid forest project management to clients in the U.S., Indonesia, New Zealand and Chile.
David New is a native of rural Indiana. He completed his degree studies at Purdue University in 1973. The majority of David’s career has been with Fletcher Challenge, formerly a New Zealand based company with forest products, construction and energy interests globally. During his employment with Fletcher Challenge David served as Chief Forester and led new business acquisition, plantation acquisition, and market development. From 1997 until February 2005, David served as Vice President of Timberland Resources for Boise Cascade Corporation managing over 2.5 million acres of forestland in six states and Brazil.David is an active member of the Society of American Foresters, serves as a board member of The Mountain State Legal Foundation and NZCO2 and the Ecosystem Management Research Institute.
Kris Seeger Principal, Seeger and Associates Utilizing her communications and media skills, as well as years of political experience, Kris provides her clients with strategic communications counsel.Prior to founding Seeger and Associates, Kris was Vice President of Communications for the American Forest & Paper Association.During her eight-year tenure at the association she directed numerous award-winning advertising campaigns for the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.Her efforts have been recognized with an Ogilvy Award and a MOBIUS Award.Her experience includes over two decades as a senior staff member in the United States Senate and House of Representatives, and the Executive Branch.A political communications professional, she has served as a senior advisor on two Presidential campaigns and three national conventions.Kris holds a bachelors degree in management from the University of Maryland.
